To provide the students of the Omaha Public School District the opportunity to learn the sport, history and culture of Lacrosse; while developing relationships and experiences that activate the skills and traits to put Omaha youth on a path to success as students and athletes.
Why Donate
All Omaha Burke Lacrosse staff is volunteer based; 100% of all donations and sponsorships go directly to the team and players. Your support provides players with protective and training equipment, travel resources, uniforms, educational materials, Try Lax Events, etc.
Lacrosse can be an expensive sport to begin, which can the major barrier to many public-school students from entering the sport. We remove barriers to entering the sport by providing the protective equipment, sticks, training equipment, uniforms, etc. to the players. Our Mission is to open pathways for non-traditional players to be exposed to the sport of lacrosse, join our team, and continue playing throughout their youth to their high school graduation. Besides direct lacrosse supports our players also receive educational assistance, school attendance support, college recruiting and application support, etc.
Omaha Burke Lacrosse is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are deductible per IRS regulations.
